Have I ever told you that I really love photographing flowers? Well, I do. I love the lines, composition, and colors and feel like the beauty of flowers in the spring and summer are symbolic of the season for me. We try to get up to Ottawa every year for their tulip festival, and when we can, we go visit the Montreal Botanical Gardens. For any locals who have never been there, I highly recommend checking them out. They have all sorts of flowers, vegetables, trees; pretty much anything that grows. Here’s their website: Jardin Botanique. It also helps that the garden is right next to the Montreal Impact Soccer Stadium, giving my soccer-obsessed husband a reason for the trip as well.
