Spring and summer are always exciting seasons in the real estate market, and this year has been one of my busiest yet. Since April, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph dozens of homes across Northern New York, from cozy village homes to expansive waterfront properties and everything in between.
As I looked back through this season’s galleries, I realized that every property has something worth highlighting. Some homes feature breathtaking waterfront views or beautiful landscapes. Others stand out because of classic Potsdam sandstone, handcrafted woodwork, inviting outdoor living spaces, or the way natural light fills each room. My job isn’t simply to document a house—it’s to identify the features that make it memorable and present them in a way that captures buyers’ attention.
One of the advantages I bring to every listing is commercial drone photography. As an FAA commercially licensed drone pilot, I can safely capture aerial images that give buyers a perspective they simply can’t get from ground-level photography. Drone images are especially valuable for waterfront homes, rural properties, large lots, farms, and homes with exceptional surroundings, helping buyers better understand the property’s location, layout, and setting before they ever schedule a showing.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with several outstanding real estate companies throughout the North Country. One of the most rewarding parts of my business has been building long-term relationships with local real estate agents. Every agent has a slightly different style, different priorities, and a unique approach to marketing their listings. By getting to know how each agent works, I can tailor my photography to complement their marketing strategy while maintaining the high-quality images buyers expect.
That collaboration is something I genuinely enjoy. Real estate photography works best when the photographer and agent function as a team, with a shared goal of presenting every property at its absolute best.
This collection features some of my favorite images from the past several months. They represent a wide variety of homes, architectural styles, and locations, but they all share one thing in common: each property has its own story. My goal is always to help buyers see that story through thoughtful photography that highlights the home’s character, craftsmanship, and lifestyle.
