Ciaran’s senior photo session was a great mix of his interests and personality. He really enjoys basketball, so we started out with some basketball-themed photos that highlighted his love for the game. Then we explored a few favorite spots around the village of Canton, using different backgrounds to capture a variety of looks and moods.
Later in the session, we went to the Avenue of Elms by St. Lawrence University for family portraits and photos with his dog. The light was beautiful, and those moments with his family felt relaxed and genuine—some of my favorite images from the day.
As northern NY photographers, sessions like this remind me why I love photographing seniors—it’s about celebrating who they are right now while giving a glimpse of the exciting road ahead. Congratulations, Ciaran, on an amazing senior year at Canton High School!
