The day began at Heather’s family’s charming cabins along the St. Lawrence Seaway, where the couple got ready surrounded by their closest family and friends. Before heading to the ceremony, Heather and Jim shared a private exchange of vows out on the dock — a beautifully intimate moment made even sweeter by the presence of their two beloved dogs, who looked dapper in their tuxedo bandanas.
The wedding party then made their way to the Thousand Islands Club on Wellesley Island — a timeless, high-class venue nestled among boats, blue water, and sweeping river views. Under a brilliant sunny sky, Heather and Jim said “I do” with the river glistening behind them — a dream backdrop for stunning portraits and heartfelt moments alike.
The celebration continued into the night with an incredible reception where Rochester-based live band Uptown Groove kept the dance floor packed from the very first song. Guests enjoyed signature cocktails named in honor of the couple’s dogs as they laughed, danced, and soaked in every joyful moment of the evening.
