I couldn’t resist the beautiful scenery yesterday evening and broke out my camera to get some fun images of light shining through the icicles. I especially enjoyed playing with the bokeh effects-which is photographer-speak for the circles of light created when my lens is out of focus in part of the image. This effect can be great for night portraits with city lights too! I especially enjoy being creative with my photographs and trying to see new things that other photographers might miss. The macro lens is great for this. Macro lens + cool light = really interesting images.
