As you can tell from the photographs from Shawna and Marie’s wedding, they had a beautiful day for their ceremony. It can be a careful and thoughtful decision for an LGBT couple to choose a wedding photographer, so I am honored Shawna and Marie chose me out of all the wedding photographers in the Potsdam, North Country, and Adirondack area. Unfortunately because of COVID, many of their family members were attending remotely via Zoom, but I could feel the wedding love surrounding them from across the continent.
We started the day with first look photographs by the river and then traveled into Potsdam for the wedding ceremony. Marie and Shawna both wrote their own vows, showing much laughter and love, and hope for their future together.
For pictures afterward we went to Canton, and explored both Heritage Park and Avenue of Elms.
